Membership Terms

Membership Information

As soon as you register for this service, we will send a welcome email to you with all of the instructions on the service and how to access it, including your personal user name and password.

You will need this user name and password to be able to use the service and arrange GP consultations.

Minimum Period of Membership

If you choose our monthly subscription plan, we have a minimum 3 months membership period, and you will be liable to pay for a minimum of 3 months membership. You may cancel your plan at any time after that. We reserve the right to seek three months of minimum payments from you using the card mandate that you created when you applied for this plan.

If you choose our Annual subscription plan, we have a minimum 12 months membership period, and you will be liable to pay for a minimum of 12 months membership. You may renew your plan at any time after that. There is no refund policy if you have selected the annual subscription and want to cancel after you have selected this plan within the 12 month subscription period.

Concessions policy

We offer concessions to various groups, such as Seniors, Parents and Students and so on. To secure this concession we will ask that you supply proof that you qualify for this concession. The process works like this:

1. We ask that you send that proof to us via a document capture process which we will send to you when you apply
2. Once we have received and accepted your proof of concession, we will send you a ink to continue your application at the concessionary rate
3. If we cannot validate your documents and if you don’t therefore qualify for the concessionary rate, we will send you a link to continue with your application at the full rate if you wish

All copies of all documents will be deleted immediately that we have verified their validity. We have no use of those documents once this process has been completed.

Manage My Membership

If you have been granted access to our GP On Demand App, you are able to manage all of your personal details, contact information, payments and subscriptions and security settings from the App.

If you have lost access to the App or have never accessed the App, please send any query or request to us using the Contact form on our Contact us page

Payment

Payment will be made by secure card payment. Monthly payments will then be taken each month by secure card payment on that same date each month. The payment date cannot be changed.

Payments are made monthly in advance. You can cancel your card payment before it is due, including the day that is due and you will have no more to pay. There is no refund or part refund if you cancel a payment after it is due.
Payments will appear on your bank account as “GP On Demand”.

Cancelling your plan

You can easily cancel your membership subscription using the MEMBER button option in the GP On Demand App. From there you can access your subscription and payment mandate and cancel the subscription. As soon as you cancel your membership all of your benefits will cease. If you are unable to access the GP On Demand App, you can send us your cancellation request via our Contact us page in this website.

GP On Demand reserve the right to cancel any membership subscription and benefits access in the event that the service has been used inappropriately by any subscriber.

Concessions

We offer concessions of 30% off our standard subscriptions to various groups, such as Seniors, Parents and Students and so on. To secure this concession we will ask that you supply proof that you qualify for this concession. The process works like this:

1. We ask that you send that proof to us via a document capture process which we will send to you when you apply
2. Once we have received and accepted your proof of concession, we will send you a link via email to continue your application at the concessionary rate
3. If we cannot validate your documents and if you don’t therefore qualify for the concessionary rate, we will send you a link to continue with your application at the full rate if you wish

What proof do we need to qualify for concession?

We only need a copy of the following documents. We will NEVER ask you to send original documents to us. To prove that you are entitled to our concessionary rates we will ask that you send us the following:

Parents – Child birth certificate showing a child under 14 and your own personal ID such as Driving Licence or passport to ID card
Seniors – State Pension statement or Drivers License or Passport showing you are a minimum age of 65
Students – NUS Student card or any official communication to you in your name from UCAS, your College or University or a Student Loan Company. The document must be dated within the last 12 months

Doctor Service Terms

Emergencies

This is not an emergency service.

If you have a serious medical emergency, call emergency services in your own country location immediately, for example 999 UK, 911 North America, 112 Europe.

Registration

You do not need to register for this service as it will automatically be granted to you as part of your accessing the GP On Demand  App.

You do not need to de-register for this service as the cover will automatically cease when your service terminates.

You do not need to de-register from your own domestic registered Doctor to be able to use this service.

Phone & Video Access only

Whilst calling from overseas your phone service provider may charge you for that call.

The GP On Demand service is not a private health plan or health insurance, it will provide you with help and guidance over the phone or video call, in the same way that your local home based Doctor will.

This is a phone and video call based service only. There is no personal face to face option of help with this service.

Our doctors may need to ask sensitive medical questions as part of your telephone or video consultation. Please ensure you are in a quiet, confidential place at your chosen time, free from interruptions.

No Guarantee

GP On Demand Member’s Service does not guarantee that a video/chat/picture message consultation is the best course of accessing advice or indeed the appropriate course of treatment for your particular healthcare concern or medical issue.

Any abuse of this service or of any personnel involved in the process will result in immediate cancellation of your access to this service.

Language

English is the primary language used in this service.

Eligible access

You may not share this access with anyone other than those people travelling on holiday within your party.

Hours of operation

The phone service is available 24 hours per day all year round.

The video service is available 8am to 10pm 7 days per week (UK GMT Time Zone), except English Bank Holidays

Liability

We accept no direct or indirect liability for your inability to access this service due to any reasons including but not limited to lack of or failure of telephone, wifi or internet connectivity.

We accept no direct or indirect liability for any direct or indirect costs incurred by you in accessing this service, including but not limited to the cost of telephone rental, calling charges, wi-fi or internet access.

By accessing the service You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your account and/or your Personal Information.

Connectivity

You will need to make sure that you are in an area where your network or internet connection is not likely to be interrupted. This is especially important if you intend to use your mobile telephone for your telephone or Skype video consultation.

Certain mobile devices only have a rear-facing camera and would need to be turned around for our doctors to view you during your video consultation. You should also bear in mind that some mobile telephones are not compatible with Skype. If you are unsure, you should check with your provider.

Optional prescription service

Private Prescriptions: In some instances a private prescription service may be available for UK residents for use within the UK. Please note an additional charge will be levied and payable for any private prescriptions raised. All prescriptions are payable by the user at the point of ordering. There are no free prescriptions options with this service. You are not obliged to use the prescription service.
The cost of the prescription will be made clear to you before you pay for it.
Delivery times for prescriptions, especially to an overseas destination will be estimated and cannot be guaranteed.
Prescriptions are handled and fulfilled by a third party provider, Pharmacy2U. You can only access that service by way of a referral from this GP service.

By accessing the service You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your account and/or your Personal Information.

Service provider Liability

As recognised, qualified and Accredited BACP Counselling professionals, BHSF Ltd as the Counselling services provider carry their own liability insurance and are naturally responsible for all clinical care and advice that they provide.

No Employee or representative of GP On Demand, will provide any form of Counselling advice to any individual GP On Demand subscriber at any time or be responsible for any advice provided by BHSF Ltd.

As professional and qualified Counsellors, only BHSF Ltd Counsellors will be qualified to provide counselling services to GP On Demand Subscribers.

No guarantee of a successful clinical or mental outcome can be given to the provision of the counselling service.

Jurisdiction

Services operate under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts and General Medical Council Guidelines.

Abuse of the Service

We reserve the right to cancel a plan membership in case of subscription abuse or inappropriate behaviour toward any Counsellor, Call receptionist or any colleague involved in the provision of this service.

Our service is not intended to provide wellbeing or medical emergency assistance or to replace your own public or private health provision.

 All calls with our Doctor service are recorded providing accurate auditing. All telephone calls and visual images are recorded for customer service and monitoring purposes.

GP Services International Limited is not the supplier of Clinical or Counselling / Wellbeing services, rather those Clinical services are provided via BHSF Ltd and Medical Solutions Ltd
